Fundraising
The college has been very active recently in fundraising involved in several fund raising events recently.
Birthday Party Collection
At a special birthday celebration for Mary Bell, mother of Senior Housing Assistant, Sheena Beaton, donations were collected in aid of College funds . The magnificent sum of £678 was raised and Mrs Bell presented the cheque to Cantraybridge College on Monday the 17th October. Students from Cantraybridge EasiPrint who had been involved in printing invitations and posters for the birthday celebration accepted the cheque on behalf of the college. The college is very grateful to Mrs Bell for her very kind donation.
Marathon Man
IT instructor, David Mitchell competed in the Loch Ness Marathon on Sunday 30 September, 2011 and raised £450 towards sports equipment for the college students. David was completing his first ever marathon and ran with hs wife Cat who was raising funds for Capability Scotland. Well done, David and Cat.
Ceilidh
A ceilidh is to be held in Croy Village Hall on Saturday 19th November. As well as live traditional Scottish music and dancing there will be stovies, sandwiches and raffles. Tickets are priced at £7.50 or £4.00 for reduced rates and are availabe from Cantraybridge College, 01667 493500.
