Funders and Sponsors
At Cantraybridge we are exceptionally grateful for all the support we receive from the local community, service commissioners and funding bodies who support our work. It takes a sustained and growing effort to provide the services we do and we simply could not do it without everyone’s support. Here is a summary of our current funders.
Highland Cross 2013
At the end of 2012, Cantraybridge were invited by Highland Cross to an interview panel to make their pitch for funding for a Double-Cab-in-Van so that we can more easily transport the goods that we produce in our social enterprises and attend local craft fairs and community events. Our Chief Executive, Lisa Buchanan and Vice-Chair of CB Nation, John Gallon, delivered the presentation successfully to become a major beneficiary of Highland Cross 2013. The Highland Cross team are a dedicated bunch of volunteers and we are looking forward to helping them with the event on 22nd June 2013.
Our plans for a new training workshop, cafe and shop are well underway and the construction of our new facility will take place between March and September 2013. This project is being part financed by the Scottish Government and the European Community Highland LEADER 2007-2013 Programme. We have been granted £150,000 from LEADER Highland.
The Robertson Trust
Again, as part of the new training workshop, cafe and shop facility project, we have been granted a match fund by The Robertson Trust to help us realise our ambitions for 2013. The Robertson Trust will be granting us £170,000 towards this development.
Jumpstart is a training programme co-produced with young adults with an autism spectrum condition (ASC). It is designed to raise awareness of ASC in the workplace and how employers can make reasonable adjustments in their workplaces to ensure that people ASC are fully included. This project is part of the Scottish Government’s Autism Strategy and is in receipt of year 1 funding of £22,000.
