Management and Staff

Senior Management

The senior management team comprises Lisa Buchanan, Chief Executive, Norma Cameron, Operations Manager and Ian Larg, Business Manager.

Lisa joined Cantraybridge College in July 2011 with some very clear ambitions for the organisation: 

1/ to improve the college’s facilities;
2/ to develop a programme of continuous improvement in learning and support services;
3/ to market the good work of the college’s students and staff to the wider public.

Lisa has had a varied career in the field of equalities and is committed to helping others achieve their potential.  A strong advocate of the power of learning and education, in 2010, Lisa was a Scottish Police Fulbright Fellow undertaking research on hate crimes in the San Francisco Bay Area.  Lisa lives with her Civil Partner in Easter Ross.

Norma Cameron is the Operations Manager for Cantraybridge College, a role which enables Norma to manage the college’s housing, training and enablement services.  Norma has had a varied career including working as a qualified Community Learning Disability Nurse and a trainer in a large energy company.  Norma’s particular interest is in helping young people to speak up about the things most important to them and supporting staff to implement high standards of care and support.

Ian Larg joined Team Cantray as the Business Manager in summer 2012 and since then has added his significant knowledge and experience of business and accounting practices to help move forward our business development strategy.  Ian ran his own business for many years and is a Chartered Accountant by profession.  In his spare time, Ian enjoys playing the pipes.
